Here are some simple self-massage techniques that can be used as a part of your daily rituals to invigorate, calm, relax and soothe.

We recommend using our morning, noon and night massage oils as they have been created to help ease your mind as well as your body.

1. Invigorating morning massage with your Morning Body Oil

  • After your morning shower, stay standing and take a few long, slow deep breaths.

  • Begin at your left shoulder, using your right hand tap from the top of your shoulder down your arm to your left hand, then keep tapping up the inside of your arm to your armpit.

  • Move to your right shoulder and repeat the tapping motion with your left hand.

  • Now with a dash of morning oil on the palms of your hands use sweeping strokes from the top of shoulders to your fingers. Repeat this motion 3 times on each arm.

  • Begin the tapping motion once again at the base of your spine and the tops of your buttocks. Using both hands tap all the way down the back of your legs to your feet, then tap all the way up the front of your legs to your pelvis.

  • Using your morning oil stroke down your legs in long sweeping strokes. Cover the front and back of both legs.

  • Now bring your hands to your belly. Tap your belly bringing warmth and energy here. Using your oil massage your belly in a clockwise directions.

  • To finish bring the palms of your hands to your face and breath in this uplifting blend of essential oils. Take a few breaths here.

2. Take a Break | Forehead massage with Noon Body Oil

During the day take a moment to reset from all those zoom meetings and screen time. This mini massage will help you to centre yourself, soothe tired eyes, and release stress held in your face.

  •  Remain seated, drop your shoulders away from your ears, soften your jaw, close your eyes and take a few long, slow, deep breaths.

  • Place some Noon Body Oil onto your fingers and bring the fingers of one hand to your forehead. With a featherlight touch begin to sweep your fingertips from one side of your forehead to the other side, just above your eyebrows … repeat several times.

  • Now place your thumb and fingers on each side of your forehead. Lightly draw your thumb and fingers toward each other meeting in the centre. Then with more pressure begin to push the muscles above your eyebrows to the edges of your hairline, softly sweeping back to the centre.

  • Repeat this action using light pressure as you sweep your fingers to the centre and firmer as you massage out along your eyebrow line.

  • Continue for five rounds breathing deeply as you massage.

  • Finish by bringing your fingers to your nose and breathing the calming and balancing aroma of the noon essential oil blend.

3. Soothing foot massage using Night Body Oil

  • Before bed, place your right foot over your left knee.

  • Apply your night body oil to the top and sole of your foot.

  • Sandwich your foot with both hands and massage all over your toes to your ankle.

  • Using your thumb press deeply down the centre of the sole of your foot, breathing deeply and slowly.

  • Then massage each toe individually, spend a little time on each one.

  • Repeat this massage on your left foot.

  • The special soothing blend of the night body oil will work up through your body from the soles of your feet as you sleep.
